While the 2014 BMW new model lineup available here at Thompson BMW in Doylestown, PA  is always incredibly exciting, that doesn’t mean that BMW engineers aren’t constantly at work dreaming up the next ultimate driving machine. And the result of that engineering this year is the brand new 2015 BMW M 235i model, which is an incredibly sporty and highly performing addition to the lineup. The fun, responsive models within the 2 Series…

Since we recently brought you the details about the BMW i8 plug-in hybrid, today we thought we'd focus on the automaker's other eco-friendly offering. The BMW i3 is an all-electric vehicle with several performance enhancing features. We figured the best way for you to learn more about them would be to hear the details from someone who just got to test drive it.

Professional racecar driver Erin Crocker took EV owner Chris Neff for a spin out on a real racetrack...

As you might be able to tell from our recent blog posts on the subject, we're quite a big fan of the new BMW 4 Series line. In this post, we'll cover the new convertible that it offers, and why we think it's the brand's most stylish yet.

Back in December here on the Thompson BMW blog we detailed the performance delivered from the electric system inside the i8 sports car.  This combo of a hybrid and gasoline engine delivers some incredible power and efficiency that was once thought to only be a vision of the future.

At the base level, the 228i has 240-horsepower four-cylinder engine and is being marketed as being a pleasurable drive with a slick design…

The BMW i8 is getting all sorts of press all across the globe, even before it has officially been released. Many all-new hybrids grab a few headlines here and there, but our Thompson BMW staff is quite certain that this particular green machine is well-worth the flurry of buzz that is has sparked.

Just like every new BMW model that you'll find in Doylestown, PA and beyond, the i8 places a heavy emphasis on...

While BMW's prowess on the road remains unrivaled as far as our Doylestown, PA staff is concerned, the brand has been known to dabble in the arts as well. That's not to say that you'll find a BMW M5 sitting alongside a Renoir or a van Gogh at Musée d'Orsay, but you've seen the vehicle; it wouldn't be entirely out of place next to a modern piece...

The annual Motor Trend's Car of the Year award is something to look forward to each year. This year, two of our new BMW models were in the running for the top honors. The BMW 4 Series and the BMW 5 Series were among the finalists accompanied by some tough competition.

The new BMW 4 Series offers two models; the 428i and 435i. Both models offer four- and six-cylinder options. For drivers seeking more…
