Thompson BMW Courtesy Vehicle Policy

Effective November 1^st, 2018

 

We understand how difficult it is to give up your vehicle for the day. When the anticipated service/repair time required for your BMW exceeds 90 minutes, Thompson BMW will provide you with a courtesy vehicle to drive.  We also have a shuttle available to take you where you need to go. Ride shares such as Uber and Lyft are also available for your convenience.

 

Courtesy Vehicle Requirements:

• Must be over 21 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Vehicle operation is limited to listed and signing drivers at time of rental.
• All tolls, traffic and parking tickets are the responsibility of the driver.
• Courtesy vehicle must be returned the same day the repairs are completed.
• Vehicles returned late or without approved extensions will be charged $64.95/day
• All courtesy vehicles are non-smoking and pet free. If you smoke or bring a pet into the vehicle you will be charged $169 for interior detailing services.
• Courtesy vehicles are available when repairs are estimated at more than 90 minutes.
• Courtesy vehicle reservations will be held for one hour after scheduled appointment time.
• During peak times a non-BMW vehicle may be substituted.
• Client is responsible to refill the fuel level when returning the vehicle. Please check the fuel level before signing the agreement. If fuel is not refilled, the credit card left for security will be charged for fuel, plus a $10.00 refilling fee.
• Any EZPass violations will incur a $10.00 administration fee in addition to the toll and violation fees.

 

 

Our goal is to return your BMW as quickly as possible, washed, vacuumed and ready to go.
