Coming hot on the heels of all those auto shows, BMW Group has just announced that March 2016 was the best single month for sales yet. This is great news for the Bavarian automaker, which saw hearty numbers posted from across its model range, signaling the strength of its lineup moving forward. Overall, BMW saw an increase of 2.9% over the very high sales numbers of the same month last year.

BMW has never been a company to shy away from bold innovation and big concepts, which is why the recently announced BMW i3 Pick-Up Truck concept has piqued the interest of us here at Thompson BMW. While it won’t be available for purchase, the unique i3 vehicle will be adopted as a fast-delivery service car internally at BMW, much like the similarly styled BMW M3 Pick-Up concept from a few years ago.

The BMWs we know today are descended of jet engines, and that lineage shows up in a surprising way in some of the newest BMW models: Heads-Up display, similar to the kind found in today’s modern fighter jets. Check out the video below to see the system explained in detail, then come visit Thompson BMW to test it out for yourself.

Some executives prefer to drive, some prefer to be driven. Owners of the all-new BMW 750i xDrive will likely want to have it both ways, reports auto writer Tom Voelk of The New York Times, in a recent review.

The Ultimate Driving Machine does double-duty as the "ultimate riding machine," explains Voelk. Behind the wheel, drivers will appreciate the powerful 4.4-liter eight-cylinder engine - with two twin-scroll turbos - that rockets the sedan to 60 mph in just 4.3 seconds and the GPS-oriented eight-speed transmission...

Top shelf luxury models like the BMW 7 Series are in a class all their own. They exude the best an automaker is made of, and the most recent update to the Munich flagship is no different. However, some wanted more. They wanted more performance--an M7. In a way, BMW has answered their prayers with the Alpina B7 xDrive.

Some drive to forget. Others drive for the thrill of it. At Thompson BMW, our new inventory of BMW models serves both needs effortlessly with models like the new BMW M6. Giving you that white-knuckle power you crave with an M TwinPower Turbo eight-cylinder engine and new innovative features that allow you to focus on nothing but the open road, the new BMW M6 is an experience in and of itself at our BMW car dealership in Doylestown.

Within the past couple days, BMW introduced the 2016 M2, which won't be available until April, at the Detroit Auto Show. The car's idea had roots in the BMW M GmbH. The M2 is sporty and aerodynamic, with an engine that delivers 365 horsepower and 343 pound-feet of torque. This car is going to be a ton of fun to drive... but don't take our work for it.

We at Thompson BMW just can't get enough of the spanking-new 2016 BMW 7 Series. And though we may've featured it in a post last month, we have more details to deliver today.

This time, we'd like you to pair up with Autotrader pundit, Jabari Jones, as he takes this full-size sedan for its first spin:

If you wish to enjoy an on-road experience like any other, look no further than the 7 Series' range-topping trim, the 750i xDrive. This thing practically redefines automotive luxury as we know it.

Standard equipment on this model includes 19-inch wheels…

We here at Thompson BMW have no trouble admitting: we have a whole lot of love for our charming compact luxury vehicle, the 2016 BMW 3 Series.

And, as it turns out, we're far from the only ones who feel as we do.

It seems we can also count AutoGuide.com Road Test Editor, Mike Schlee, among the ever-growing list of 3 Series supporters. Hear him pile on the praise in the clip below:

There are myriad ways one can configure the 3 Series. Offered in sedan and wagon body styles, it's available on one of four unique…

Staggering style. Outstanding engine options. And a cabin equipped with just about every creature comfort under the sun. This is what the all-new 2016 BMW 7 Series is all about.

Have you had an opportunity to orient yourself to it? Well, if not, Auto Trader UK Senior Road Tester, Paul Bond, is here to provide you with the pertinent details. Take a moment to hear him out:

One of the first things you'll notice about the 7 Series is its array of astounding, tech-driven amenities.
